I prefer the new Metric to the debut. Old World Underground, blah blah blah didn't even pick up until halfway into it, where I liked Live It Out from the start. Neither album really wowed me, though.
I think Xiu Xiu is amazing, but definitely more of an acquired taste.
The Unicorns are great. In fact, I was just about to recommend them in your electro-pop thread, adidasss. Give em a chance, you'll probably love them.

shit.....thanks for the heads up, i'll check them out.....( i was actually assuming they're similar to xiu xiu, that's why i discarded them )
