This is going to be done in a few parts so that I don't make this post seem longwinded etc etc etc. As the image above would suggest, i'm going to talk about games that at first glance don't seem like they'd be worth your time, but in actuality, turned out to be pretty freaking awesome. we've all had those moments where you look at a games title or description and you just think "man, i wonder if that'd be any good". Of course, most of the time (for me anyway) it turns out that the game does end up being pretty damn good. So, to start things off...
Dino D Day
So, looking at the title of this game, the first thing you probably think of is "dinosaurs?" Yeah, ****ing dinosaurs. This game is your typical run of the mill fps multiplier game with different classes, two different teams, cool maps, etc etc. But what it has going for them as other games don't, it's the ability to choose a human class, or a dinosaur class. I know what you're thinking..."wouldn't that make things overpowered?" Surprisingly, it doesn't. The developers went about this game the same way any developer would with an fps game, they made all the classes balanced with each other including the dinosaurs. Each class be it human or dinosaur has it's weaknesses and it's strengths. The kamakazi raptor for instance has speed and is tiny, but the weakness is that you have to be right next to an enemy player in order to inflict any damage at all. You also have to be lucky enough to hit the enemy where it hurts to get the kill, otherwise you're wasting a life. It's a great game and for the money, it's a nice way to kill some time and kick some ass as a dinosaur with guns on it's back. At first glance, I thought the game would be cheesy and stupid, but it's really got a lot going for it and in time, i'm hoping they update the graphics as those are the only things keeping it from being really enjoyable.
