It's pretty strange how this all came about because of a simple note of condolence to someone, a missed part of a post on my behalf and then a big ****storm blew up. But I think it's important to note that when Ki says he is not trying to offend anyone, he should realise that he is, by (presumably unintentionally, cos I don't believe he'd do such a thing on purpose) seeming to trivialise people's attempts to get over death and loss, and not realising that what he's saying, as I quoted, is a pretty gross insult to those who have lost people in their lives.
Ki, don't you understand? You can't say "I don't mean to offend anyone" when you're saying "after x amount of days/years you should be over your loss". It just doesn't work. You
are offending people. You're offending me, and you're offending Dulce, and JTF and others. It's quite surprising that you would be so insensitive, as I know you're not like this. You really need to keep such opinions to yourself; it's way too touchy and personal an issue to be telling people how and when they should be over the death of a loved one.
Disappointed, man. Disappointed.
