It looks like everything post-1989 is proper µ-Ziq, the stuff from before that is interesting but not his "sound" as it's come to be defined, more just youthful exuberance.
If you haven't already, I'd recommend checking out the official collection
Somerset Avenue Tracks 1992-1995. It's a lot of old B-sides and oddities, but Disc 1 especially stands tall with some of the greatest work he ever did on
Tango N' Vectif.
