Yes the bolded is true but as I mentioned earlier you also engage in other behaviors that a general music listener would not such as attending music message boards or sites and researching information about music. You want to learn more about other styles and you openly express in depth opinions that an average general listener would not. Also, I think there are different types of listeners. I don't think the "only" styles are general and enthusiastic but just stating the differences between the two since you asked me.
