Somehow you've taken the forums closeness and turned it into a bad thing. Outside of a few particular instances everyone active in the lounge can be viewed as a giant click with characters that are expected to play certain roles. This is human nature, get over it. Unless we are attacking new members or people are leaving because of it I don't see a problem. This is a music site, if you come here and don't like the lounge section who gives a fuck? The threads in the music section are solid and the journals are way better than than the majority of other sites I looked into before joining here.

On another note, if your getting shit from the higher ups, I get it, do what you have to do as mods.
