What were your impressions of this album after the first five minutes?

The intro was weird in a good way. Sounds a bit more experimental than I had expected.

Did those first impressions change as you listened to the album?

Not really.

Were the opening 2-3 tracks or the closing 2-3 tracks stronger?

The closers were the two best tracks on the album, IMO.

Did you find you enjoyed this album more or less on repeated listens?

More. The effects grew on me.

What was your favourite track?

Probably "Reborn".

What was your least favourite track?

I quite liked them all, but "Little Fly was the one that stood out the least to me.

What did you think of the variety of tracks presented?

Normal for a record of its genre.

How would you describe the overall mood?

Undulating and slightly unsettling (in a good way) at times.

Would you listen to it again for purposes other than this club?

Yes.

How well do you know this band/artist?

Never heard of them until now.

If you're familiar with this band/artist, how does this album compare to their other work?

N/A

How would you improve this album?

Hire a couple new vocalists.

Would you recommend this album to a friend?

None of my RL friends would appreciate it.

Will you be exploring this band/artists' other material?

If I can find the time, certainly.

What did you think of the vocals?

Scroll up.

What did you think of the instrumentation?

Anything with flute makes me swoon, and the variety of percussion was cool. Reminded me a bit of the Velvet Underground.

What did you think of the production?

A bit sketchy at times, but acceptable overall.

Any other thoughts to share?

I haven't really explored much "experimental" music from this era, so this is a nice introduction to that.

Rate the album out of ten. No decimals!

8/10
