Sorry, I would've updated yesterday, but got caught up helping my grandmother do some cleaning around her house. She's having a little bit of an issue, so ... I was a good person. It happens. Don't make a thing of it. Just know, deep down, that I'm a saint. Anyways... Not a single band went unscathed here, and I must say I'm surprised at two out of the three bands that got only one/two votes. Not that they aren't classics, but I figured Priest or Motorhead would be doing better than Dio. No offense.

So, looks like Scorpions downed one too many, cause they've blacked out and are down for the count. Everybody got at least one vote, but Scorpions were the clear loser in this round. I mention this mainly because I don't really like the Scorpions and this makes me happy.

Next round...

9. Mercyful Fate - Don't Break the Oath
8. Accept - Balls to the Wall
7. Motorhead - Ace of Spades
6. Diamond Head - Lightning to the Nations
5. Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance
4. Saxon - Denim and Leather
3. Dio - Holy Diver
2. Iron Maiden - Powerslave
1. Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell

So, vote 4 off. Vote ends February 3.

Oh, and I think next we're gonna do the death metal battle. I'm gonna start posting links to the albums in the next battle we're doing in the OP long before we get to them, just so people who might otherwise not participate because they don't know all the albums will have plenty of time to catch up if they so desire. So, if you wanna do the DM battle, but haven't listened to all the albums in the list, please check the OP for links to each.
