I liked his 'E!' show from 1993, 'The Howard Stern Interview'. Episodes that come to mind are "interviews" with Richard Lewis, Dick Cavett, and Paul and Gene from Kiss. Absolutely hillarious! Unfortunately, it didn't last very long. Eventually he started filming his radio show and it was renamed 'The Howard Stern Show' and that's when it became lame I think. Frankly, I've always thought of his "crew" as more annoying than funny. That's probably why I liked his '93 show better. Frankly, he didn't need them in my opinion (
