I also like finding juicy nuggets of unknown glory!
I started a similar thread, "Good Songs by Non-Famous Bands," back in 2011. You may enjoy listening to some of the lesser known songs posted in that thread:

These are three of my favorite juicy nuggets of unknown glory, which I defined as songs that have fewer than 1,000 views on Youtube and no Wikipedia article about the bands or singers:
A Brokeheart Pro (Jeannette Kantzalis) - "Bleed On"
(Only 618 views on Youtube)
I especially like her line, "I'm pretty sharp, so I'll cut to the quick."

And just in case you are wondering about who is singing that song, here are some pictures of Jeannette Kantzalis:
Pointless google censor strikes again. Sigh..

The Thrill Collective - "Ink"
(Only 335 views on Youtube)
I heard this song for the first time in 2012 and wrote the following about it then: I enjoy its fast-paced energy, glittery guitar solos, competent playing, and the lead vocalist's strong, clear singing voice. The tune is catchy and has stuck in my mind, making it my favorite of their songs. I'm impressed with the band members' skill level, especially considering their youth.
Kirsten Amy - "Unbelievable"
(only 25 views!)
Lovely Indian influences and she also has a *lovely* voice. Excellent. Only one note (her highest) was out of tune.

EDIT: I just checked what new songs Kirsten Amy has recorded, and I felt this one is noteworthy:
Kirsten Amy - "You Mars, I Saturn"
