@Plankton: Great call on Metal Church's first, fantastic album, easily in my top 5 for thrash.

26. Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence [1992]



Absolutely ferocious NY thrash metal with remarkable control and precision, like a jackhammer to the ear drums or a rabid dog attack. Epidemic of Violence saw the band move forward with greater focus and more balanced production. Although quite similar in style to their debut Torture Existence, also a classic, EOV really jacks the intensity up a full notch. Disgustingly feral vocals, interesting and uniquely descriptive lyrics (see Pyroclastic Annihilation), immensely heavy instrumentation backed by tight balanced production, and some of the cleanest and most precise percussion I've ever heard at this tempo. The songs are aggressive, merciless, and often quite catchy.
