Well, take anything -- say, books. There are so many books out there; chances are most of them are crap. There are so many songs out there -- chances are most of them are crap. Romantic love and sex are common themes throughout humanity -- otherwise it'd be the end of the human race!
Love songs are just another thing people create, and most people suck at creating things. End result: many crappy love songs.
