All it takes is like ten bucks for a disc and you're good. Private parks make you pay a small fee, but there are a lot of nice public courses, all of which are free. And the great thing about disc golf is that if you're too wasted to throw straight and end up way off the fairway, that just means you get some really whacky, fun throws. It's also easy to learn, so you won't be giving up out of frustration after ten minutes, but hard to master, so there's always a drive to improve.
Oh, and to any disc golfers on this site, the #1 rated course in the country, the Grange, in Spotsylvania, VA, is two hours from where I live. Three courses, fifty-four holes. So, one of these days, we need to meet up over there and have like a disc golf weekend.
