Yaaay, I get to be part of the hype for an album. Finally!
So I'm listening to the album as I type, and so far what I can say is it's very... Avey. It reminds me a lot of Down There so far. I know panda as sampler-abuser (in a good way) with surf-rock vocal melodies. I know Avey for the off-the-wall synth effects and slow drums (plus stuff that isn't in this, but that's beside the point).
Untying the Knot just came on and I kinda want to... I don't know, just do something awesome.
But yeah, this seems to really be focusing more on sound texturing than Noah's other, rhythm focused stuff. I can definitely see this as an evolution of him as an artist, even if it's kinda subtle. (though I dunno how subtle it really is... I see people comparing Slasher Fics to Centipede Hz so I might be looking at it differently...)
Also I'm currently hearing "Baby fish that swim in the sea" a lot right now. I love this.
Can't wait for the album~
