I think he meant the person who last taught you a life lesson... unless you're joking or something. To answer the question: I didn't really have any sort of guidance growing up. But it was probably my godmother Jeanne. One of my earliest memories was being with her and my mom at a bagel shop. Mom bought me starbursts and said I could have "this many" and indicated with her fingers about 2.5 inches worth of starbursts. Not sure why she didn't just say 3 or 4 but when I lined them up I do so wideways down. Jeanne corrected me and told me to line them up lengthways, obviously because you get more that way. It's a fond memory and probably doesn't make as much sense when read as it does in person.
