This is probably one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking, gut-wrenching albums I have ever heard in my life. Watch for a review in the Classic Albums journal, and eternal thanks to YorkeDaddy for suggesting it. Unbelievable.

This was my favorite album around 6 months back. Haven't listened to The Antlers much at all in the last few months sadly. Thanks for the reminder.
The Angels of Light -
How I Loved You
I'm already a fan of Swans and now I'm a fan of TAOL as well. Michael Gira can have my babies any time. I'm also stoked to see the collab of TAOL and Akron/Family that I have yet to catch a good listen of. Can't wait!
Low -
I Could Live in Hope
I fell in love with their album "The Curtain Hits the Cast" and now I'm starting to explore further into their discography. I gave this one a few listens so far and I'm really feeling it. My interest in slowcore is definitely growing after my experience with Low and Carissa's Wierd. A beautiful genre for delicious tears.
The Dillinger Escape Plan -
One of Us Is the Killer
Another solid album from TDEP. I love their style and one of my favorite harder bands. I'm not quite a big listener of this style of music anymore (ear problems) but I will sit through the pain if I have to. Extended stays are not hard when it's TDEP.
Converge -
Jane Doe
Converge has been on my hit list for quite awhile now. I've heard a lot of great things about them and my need for ear rape last night led to me finally checking it out. I winded up listening to it several times and thoroughly enjoying it. Nice lyricism. Nice music. I woke up with my ears ringing, but it was all worth it.
