Hairless. With the right head shape, I can deal with bald, but I'm assuming the bearded lady wouldn't be shaving.
And you crazy about choosing Poe. He might be a better writer, but Lovecraft's subject matter blows Poe out of the water. "The Raven" just doesn't have the impact that it would've hundred years ago, but the Elder Ones will always be freaky.
