Misfits and Descendents (along with Suicidal Tendencies) were basically my introduction to punk in the early 90s (Dead Kennedys to a lesser extent)...and set me up for a lot of California skate punk listening (Fat Wreck, Epitaph, etc.). The reason I didn't get into a lot of the early punk until years later. Though there was no good reason for not listening to Ramones at the time.
