ALRIGHT. So. 'nutter roomie complaint.
Last week my dog had the shizts. At some point she got out, made a uh... sizeable mess of the the common area carpet. I cleaned it up to the best of my ability at the time, still stained. So I rented a carpet cleaner machine today to really get it all out and was like, 96% successful. I'd keep at it but I ran out of cleaner solution.
SO. The carpet was ****ed when I first moved in. S'part of the reason I had the carpet in my room taken out. But yeah... first things I noticed:
Garbage carpet.
Mountain of recyclables just hanging out.
Messy kitchen.
Pubes all over the bathroom.
But it was still better than where I was before, plus... 15min walk to the beach? Eff to the yeshes.
Anyways, offtopic mostly pointless info aside- roomie is not content. He's like,
"You know, if you're gonna do something do it right. Clean the whole carpet."
(I made him sound nicer than he was about it)
I tried to clean the whole carpet, it's better than it was before for sure but fvck. I don't clean carpets for a living. I did my best and already spent about 60$ on everything to get it where it was. My contribution to the carpet's messiness is pretty much cleaned after. But he thinks I should be responsible for taking care of the whole carpet. Am I wrong to disagree?
