Here are two possible ways to accomplish recording to your laptop:
1. Right click on your Volume Control (bottom right of your screen in the TSR section, if it's not there, go to Control Panel, then Taskbar and Start Menu, and then check it off under the Notifications tab), and select Recording Devices and make sure your Krome device is the default. Then go to Start, then Accessories, and click on "Sound Recorder". You should be able to record with that, but you won't have any editing capabilities.
2. Download a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) like Audacity (it's free), and it should pick up the drivers for the Krome install, or you'll be able to select it under "Preferences" or similar. Then you'll be able to record multiple tracks, AND edit them.
