Went to see the Chicago Six last night. 3 of the '85 Chicago Bears up on stage making their noise (Dan Hampton, Steve "Mongo" McMichael, and Otis Wilson). It was kind of last minute since the GF's brother had a VIP invitation (he's been a Chicago Bears season ticket holder for as long as I've known him), and he was able to bring 10 people with him. It was at 115 Bourbon Street, which is a place I've heard about, but never been to. Holy Mother of all Bars! This place was huge. 2 concert venue rooms, an outdoor area w/another stage, and 2 separate ballroom areas. I lost count of how many separate bars there were. The best thing about it all, was the fact that EVERYTHING was FREE!

Valet Parking = Free
Cover Charge = Free
Food = Free
Drinks = Free

It was their 15 year anniversary, and it was the owners way of saying thank you to his customers. The place is a gold mine, so I estimated a cost of more than likely +/- 1M total to put this thing together, which after talking to some of the employees, isn't too big of a stretch for him.
