I don't think we should be dropping Rooney either to be honest mate. I did get the feeling Woy has the system he wants to play, or did for the Italy game at least, and Rooney didn't really fit into it, so he shoehorned him into the team on the left of midfield. But considering he was out of position he still assisted our goal. He wasn'treally involved in the match as he should be, but I don't think he had a terrible match.

If he wants to play Sturridge, Rooney, Welbeck and Sterling, I would have expected Rooney central behind Sturridge, Welbeck and Sterling either side.

Anyway, looking forward to watching Belgium here.
The USA has to be able to get out of this group now, Portugal was awful looking. Rooney has the ability, i'd say give him another look. Of course they will come back with him and hopefully move him around a bit more to get a good fit for his skillset.

Belgium got the best draw they could have hoped for. If they don't make it through to the knockout round the Belgian public will eat them alive.
