So do poor people not have hobbies? Last time I checked they do. I have a best friend who's poor but she works hard even so. Next you will be telling me poor people are lazy. I had a boyfriend years ago who was living under the poverty line, we still had a great time together. It's more insulting to me that you are putting these people in one box, as though they don't have personalities, ambitions or interests. You seem to be defending your point in circles to back track how stereotypical your comment was. I have rich friends too, do you have a problem with rich people? If you can't relate to poor people then as a "middle class" white boy you must have no common ground with them based on what you've indicated.
