...almost forgot. I'm going to see Michael Angelo Batio w/Eric Mantel as the opening act at Mojoes on June 13th. I'm meeting Eric sometime this weekend to pick up some tickets he's got saved for me. I played alongside Eric a couple years ago, and we hit it off. Nice guy, outstanding musician.

Met up with Eric this weekend. He actually came to a friends house where I was at, doing some rehab work I do in my spare time after my 'paying' job. We talked a bit about retirement plans (imagine that), and how he has never put into SS because he's never needed a job that requires it since he's been a musician all his life. He's doing his best to keep his head above water these days, and I'm inclined to give him a hand any way I can. As he was leaving, he said "See ya there, and I'll buy you a beer!" to which I replied, "Nah dude, I'm buying YOU one!". Kinda made my day. Gonna be a good night this Friday.
