Hi,

I'm looking to create a playlist of melodic soul-like music with powerful vocals, but I don't know that many songs. So hopefully I'll find some help here.

Some examples of what I'm looking for:
Sam Cooke - A change is gonna come (a bit too sweet, but the melody is unbeatable)
Janis Joplin - Mercedes Benz & Turtle Blues (a bit bluesy, but hopefully you get my point. The arrangement is perfect, of which there is just none)
The Smiths - Baby It's You (Not soul at all, but in the last chorus there is a scream that just gives you goosebumps)

So - this is it.
Suggestions anyone please
