Still there was some really good commentary on the seedier side of the entertainment industry as well as fandoms. There was some stuff that was painful to listen to, but that's always been the case with this show. I'll give it a few more watches before I fully draw my opinion on the McGruder-less show, but I think with enough good writers, it's possible for this show to be just as good.

It was good and definitely had some laughs, but it wasn't the standard over-the-top and hysterical Boondocks I've come to love. I'm still going to jump into upcoming episodes with an open mind still, though.
