While it's a shame that the government was prevented from doing its job by a bunch of far-right pricks with guns I hope that the willingness of these idiots to use threats of violence and terror to defend blatantly illegal squatting will discredit their rotten political views even more. "The guy has been illegally grazing his cattle on 600,000 acres of land. Based on a rough look at land values, Nevada ranch land seems to be worth around $2000/acre. This works out to a value of around $1.2 billion. So the government is asking for $1 million dollars for 20 years use of a $1.2 billion asset? That has got to be one of the most generous deals in history."
