I have a hard time choosing Chain of Memories, KH, or KH2 as the best game of the series. Days was pretty respectable as well.

I forgot that this thread doesn't allow people to mention personal favorites, but is for games that are objectively brilliant in every possible way (let's forget the fact that every game that's been mentioned in this thread is a personal favorite of the member who mentioned it). While I'm at it, I'll remove To the Moon and Perfect Cherry Blossom, replace New Vegas with Oblivion and Persona 4 with Final Fantasy VII, and add Goldeneye to my list. It doesn't matter that I was personally underwhelmed by these new replacements, as they're objectively brilliant!

(I apologize for going off on a tangent, but I just got really annoyed about that particular line in his post. I also really don't want anyone to think that this post implies that I think that anyone in here is lying about their choices. I really don't, but I want to remind everyone that my list (and, really, everyone else's) just consists of personal favorites. It's just odd seeing how a lot of people talk about their favorite albums and mention that music is subjective, and yet they don't have the same mindset for games and imply that they have to be objectively great to be worthy of being praised as a favorite. I could name quite a large number of problems with my favorite games (and not just the ones I mentioned in my last post), and I'd still love them and consider them to be my favorites, despite the fact that they're not objectively great. I'd just like to apologize in advance for sounding a bit hostile in my post.)

I just meant that it is weird that you would choose MGS2. I can't find anything (gameplay, or otherwise) that the second one did better than the MGS.
