Nope. Not wrong.
If someone who *might* actually want to participate here, and *just happens* to make music of their own, will at least show SOME level of diligence as regards reading the forum rules (they get a message to do so before they register) and at least SOME degree of contrition if they trip up. This poster displayed neither.
I have noticed this type of poster pretty close to daily in the 13+ months I've been here.
