That's true but even this year was pretty classy and most stars brought their mothers as their dates. It was just love all around. Ellen was a great host. The movies that were nominated were pretty interesting films.

That's another great thing I like about the Oscars is seeing the documentaries that win and even the nominated ones. It shines a light on ones that I may have missed out on.
