Let’s Do The Time Warp Again!

Today we are going to head back to the year 1999.
I was a sophomore in high school and rushing home every afternoon to catch up on the latest episode of Dragonball Z and Toonami. After the time warp dance has been completed. It rips a tear in the fabric of time and I get whisked away to a different time period. After all the smoke has cleared, I look around at my surroundings to see that something has gone awry. Well it looks like there is a bloody kink in how this time traveling stuff works and and I seem to have ended up in a time period that I'm not sure about. Pulling out a hexagon-like device from my pocket it clearly shows the date being July 25th, 1969. I have no recollection of this period in time so it's time for me to pick up a newspaper and see what events are happening. I scan the newspaper with my device and it spits out information about certain events that have happened during this year.
The events are as follows:
Richard M. Nixon is inaugurated 37th President of the US (Jan. 20).
Stonewall riot in New York City marks beginning of gay rights movement (June 28).
Sen. Edward M. Kennedy pleads guilty to leaving scene of fatal accident at Chappaquiddick, Mass. (July 18) in which Mary Jo Kopechne was drowned—gets two-month suspended sentence (July 25). Background: Timeline of Kennedy tragedies
Apollo 11 astronauts—Neil A. Armstrong and Edwin E. Aldrin, Jr., —take first walk on the Moon (July 20).
It also appears to be the year that Woodstock is happening in August. I will mosey on over to take in that experience
in person. Here we go, four days of rain, sex, drugs and rock and roll. How did I jump from July 25th to Woodstock in
August? Don't question it, it is f
ucking time travel.
"Music is for grooving, music is not for putting yourself through bad changes and you don't have to take anyone's s
hit to like music so if you are getting more s
hit that you deserve you know what to do about it. It's just music. Music is supposed to be different than that."
What a great way to start up a performance.
What a wild f
ucking experience that was. I must be going before I can't return back to the present. Before I take
off I do have to mention that during this period of time as you all know the Vietnam war was going on.
My heart goes out to all of the troops that were drafted and sent off to that horrible war and then came
home to be hated by the general public with some ending up homeless and missing limbs.
