i love nba too but its easily the easiest sport to shave points. i think it happens all the time. start gamblin a lot on games, you will pay attention to spreads and see just how screwy soooo many games are. its obvious.
the lakers vs kings series was unfortunate. kings got shafted and that was a really fun team. webber, bibby, christie, bobby jackson, vlade, pollard, peja, etc. great team.
