I was probably one of the first people in all of Sweden to buy a Kiss album. I bought "Hotter Than Hell" in a record store in Stockholm in the summer of the year 1974. I was not really a kid - I was all of 20 years old.
The reason I bought that album is that I saw it displayed on the wall of the record store - and,
but of course, I had to find out what the hell might be inside of such a
weird album sleeve! I was somewhat dissappointed by the music when I got home and put in on my sister“s stereo (I had no stereo of my own at the time).
I never became a big fan of Kiss. But I liked many of their 1970s-era up-tempo songs (of which they made quite a few).
My favorite album by Kiss was the "Alive II!" album (the one which was released in 1978 if my memory is not playing a trick on me).
