And it should be duly noted that of all the countries in the world India never invaded another country in its entire history. (Not that there wasn't wars and internal strife within India.)

America or the US etc etc reinserted it's independence from the royal crown (aka England UK Great Britain etc etc). There was no interest in America it was overlooked until it shown to be prosperous and ripe for taxation.
