Just to be clear, IN NO WAY am I saying that the alcohol-affected individual is to be pardoned in any way shape or form for the consequences of their booze-addled decisions., On the contrary. "Tough Love" is an excellent therapy. Those who lose loved ones to these individuals might find even that too soft, and I don't blame them.

I'm not saying that you *did* think I was saying that at all.
