My 1960s dishwasher smells like it's on fire, so I called my landlord and she's having maintenance come over on Monday to figure out why it's so loud and smelly all of a sudden. At least she was nice enough to come over and take a look at it. Plus she says that if the problem isn't fixable, we get a brand new dishwasher for free.
That doesn't change the fact that I have to do all this by hand when I get home tonight.
Damn it.
