I don't have dependable/trustworthy/decent friends but have always wanted to try shrooms. I've little experience with drugs, smoked weed a couple times but was indifferent. Did E once and it was okay. I've always been a drinker when it comes to vices. I worry because everything I've heard and read says that shrooms are really iffy for people who can be emotionally unstable and I've dealt with clinical depression and anxiety problems for about 8 years now. If I don't have someone with me and things go down hill what's the worst that could happen? I was just planning on hanging out in my room and painting, hanging out at the beach, or watching a movie. Alice on Wonderland + Shrooms = fun times from what I hear.
Yeah, first time I did shrooms I did 'em by myself (I actually did them with my older brother's best friend, but he freaked out 45 minutes after drinking the tea, f*cked off, and left me to it). It was a profound experience. I could see the trees in the garden blowing in the wind through the walls, see the stars through the ceiling, my dogs turned into wolves, paintings ran out of their frames, at one point I thought I'd died as I was floating above my body looking down. Never been the same since really. It was a turning point.

You mention you have anxiety and clinical depression, my advice is DON'T TAKE psychedelics. They're non-toxic so there's no physical danger (unless you do something silly like jump out of a window thinking you can fly ), but they are known to exasperate existing/hidden mental problems. If you do decide to take 'em, tripping on your own can be good, it all depends on what's going on in your subconscious. Having someone around will prevent you falling into yourself, prevent you from analysing each and every crazy thought and emotion. Whether that's a good thing or not depends on the thoughts. Bon voyage if you do decide to go ahead.
