OK well I don't wnat to get all up on my high horse as DJ would accuse me of, but really if you meant it as a joke it would not have been very funny --- wasn't phrased as one and you admitted you were serious. That said, it's pretty insulting to use the comment you did to tar everyone and every thread the same: you're basically saying is this all you do? I'm glad I left.

You're an intelligent guy whom I had thought was shaping up to be a valuable member, but insulting the other members with a withering comment like that doesn't help. Have you read any of the other recent threads, or did you just see this, go aha! and leap in? Because that's what it seems like you did.

I actually like you, and I think a lot of people here do, but if you insult and put people down it's going to make it harder for them to accept you. Maybe you don't want that. Maybe you're happy being the outsider, looking occasionally in, delivering the odd caustic comment and legging it for another few months. If that's the case (and I don't think it is) then sorry but I doubt anyone here wants you to stick around. But if you want to be part of the community why not make an effort to join in? It might seem elitist at times, cliquey even but it isn't, not always, and you should know from your time spent here already that people are generally friendly and helpful. But you get what you give, so if you're going to be sarcastic, bitter, snide and dismissive, then that will just come right back to you.

I'd hope you stay around, but if so, I'd also hope you'd make an effort to improve your attitude and try to contribute more positively. Hell, you might even end up liking it here!
