Yeah I know Jansz. I just meant it's mainly played in the US and even if it's popular in those countries that still doesn't qualify the US players being seen as the best in the world. They're the best in America, and that's it. World Series me arse!
As for 216, why do you think I'm validating your argument? I'm not; I'm destroying it. You can't have a "world series" if the world is not involved. Think there's a world series of curling? Or eskimo fish-catching? Or Peruvian jungle snake-throwing championships? Jeez man: listen to the logic willya?

Football isn't even that arrogant: the Premiership is seen and acknowledged as the best league in the world, but it has La Liga (Spain) Bundeslige (Germany) Seria A (Italy) and others to measure itself against. And even then, English footballers, though there may be some of them that are the best in the world, do not all consider themselves so. We all know Messi Ronaldo et al are usually better than most of what England can produce. Not to mention, English teams who claim to be the best in the world (Man United, Arsenal, Liverpool etc) all test themselves by going up against non-English clubs and usually failing, but at least they're providing a measurement of their skill by comparing it to like. What do baseball teams do? Oh, Cincinnati is better than New York? Boston can kick Minneapolis's arse? You're still all American! And if you don't have any team outside of America to test yourselves against, you cannot claim to be or have the best players in the world, just in the USA. QED.
