Who is making it commercialized? The industry paints a cat and tries to sell it as a lion. It was never about fashion or the way you looked, anybody that says it is, is still wet behind the ears, or too busy trying to decide which color plaid goes best with their new bondage belt to stop and pay attention.

ive said it before on some thread around here, if you or anybody is comparing these bands to what punk is youve got it all wrong. George Bush can get a mohawk and start screaming "im Punk Rock!!!" it doesnt mean shit.

The scene is still underground. The real punk bands are still underground. 5 -15 bucks is still the price for a good show. If youre spending 40 bucks to see someone with blue hair play 3chord rock then the blindfold is on, bend over, take it like a man and dont expect the record industry to have the courtesy to give you a reach around.
