And that comment alone has got me checking out the trailer and interested as well

I'm really looking forward to it, it's just a question of setting aside everything I have to do to sit down and read a book! I read a lot more when I'm on trains, buses and the like, so I might just book a trip to Newcastle and back one day just so I can get this read!

Guess I'm one of those fake geek girls I've been hearing so much about

It's a sticking point alright, and I know there are certain lobbyists who are calling on people to boycott the movie.
And on a different note, as for Joss Whedon, couldn't agree more. Loved Firefly to bits (I hated Serenity though, but different story, different time I guess), thought Buffy had its moments, and I did really enjoy Cabin In the Woods too. Otherwise he just doesn't interest me...seems like a stuffy
prick in the Firefly dvd extras too.

Crimes and Misdemeanours was fantastic, but even being something of Woody Allen fan, I never really got into Husbands and Wives. Wasn't a bad film, by any stretch, just that nothing really stuck with me about it.
The Purple Rose Of Cairo and Stardust Memories are my favourites of his - should really watch those if you haven't already.
