I couldn't relate as well to characters in the Corrections, although I did like it a lot, Gary was my favourite character in the book, his struggle with depression was artfully done and very true to life. And the sister? I forget her name right now but she was pretty awesome. I hated Chip though.
I could relate to Patty a lot with her relationship with Walter & her fascination with Richard Katz, I've been there way too many times myself.

I looooved About A Boy, I'm not as fond of his other books as I was About A Boy but it gave me a tonne of feels.

I've had a few false starts with other books but I was hooked after the first page, her prose is so beautiful and musical it makes for a really easy read.
