I will give you an example of why I believe Obama's statement was politically incorrect. His statement brings up the question as to why he is not addressing the fact that 75% of black mothers in this country have children out of wedlock. Family structure itself is what should be addressed more importantly than Whine Merchandising. This is something that the black leaders of this country should address themselves, because I don't think they even want any help by the whites at all. Im not trying to turn this into a racial argument DJ, Im just debating the subject with you in presenting different views from both sides, nothing more.

I didn't think it was an argument. You are free to express your opinion on the matter while we are having this discussion. It seems like there are loads of people that want to just sweep this issue under the rug and not talk about it like it doesn't exist. Those are the same people that believe "Oh we have a black president. Racial tensions/discrimination doesn't exist." What does having children out of wedlock have to do with anything? Family structure isn't a good indicator of anything. This is similar to when people bring up the fact that kids would be better off in a two parent straight household as opposed to living with two same sex parents. The numbers show that abuse rate of children is through the roof with two parent straight sex households. So, I don't get the point of what you are trying to make with the family structure point.
