Anyone heard the latest regarding Rooney?
Sky Sports are reporting that Chelsea have made a bid of 10m + Mata or Luiz for Rooney. United say they declined. But Chelsea have hit back and said the bid was only a monetary one. Seems like it's now turning into a war between United and Chelsea for Rooney.

So from what I can see, either United have leaked some bollocks to the press to unsettle a couple of Chelsea players or Chelsea are lying and are trying to backtrack so as to not piss their own players off. I think it's the latter. Chelsea are hardly gonna come out and say 'yes, we offered them a couple of our players', if they didn't then they'd have issued a statement straight away but it must've took about four hours.
Seems like this has got legs though. The hamstring injury, Rooney's leak to the press yesterday (

) and now a bid?
