We attempted to a few years ago in Portugal but the weather was absolutely ****e and the place was full of OAP Germans. On the other side of the bay we spotted a massive **** off beach party, but not all of us were great swimmers and when we tried to walk it we got lost. Also I watched England crash out to Germany in a pub full of Germans (I was alone as the Welshies weren't fussed). Bad times.
