Damn, I'm sorry. =\ I've lost my collection three times, and certainly wouldn't wish that to happen anybody even once. It can, however, be somewhat refreshing to rebuild if you have the right mindset. For me, it was kind of enjoyable watching the artist list in my music folder grow again; it was like I was just beginning to collect again.
But, for the most part it is just a massive pain in the ass, and I hope that the people who stole your laptop get their wealth redistributed.
