Well I was pleasantly surprised by this. I was expecting some cliched romantic feel good film with everyone looking like super models but it was very decent with some great action, great scenery and good special effects.
I remembered seeing this film well over 10 years ago and loving it but it has been a bitch to track down as the DVD has been deleted here for a while but I managed to find it 2nd hand for £4 and glad I did. Screenwriter/Director Boaz Yakin only makes a film every 10 years or so but when he does he really makes a great film. 12 Y.O old Fresh is a drug pusher but is also highly intelligent and he uses this to right all the wrongs in his life to set him on a good path via chess games with his homeless father that teach him about how life works. Superb low budget film.
