I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with Cymatics? I'm fairly new to the subject myself, so I gathered a little information to help with the introduction. I recently discovered a band (Distant Lights) out of Texas, and they are introducing cymatics along with their music through videos.

Cymatics: The study of sound and vibration made visible. Audio reactive fluid simulates cymatic phenomena. A CymaScope, makes visible the inherent geometries within sound and music.
Its nothing that has just recently been discovered or studied, the provenance of Cymatics can be traced back at least 1000 years to African tribes.
