well I know I'm gonna forget a bunch of groups, but I'll give it a go.
I like a lot of classic rock. You know, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, The Who, etc... the the usuals like Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera, a bit of Guns 'n' Roses, of course Nirvana (in case my avatar didn't give it away)... and other randoms like System of a Down, Tool, Dream Theater, Disturbed, Breaking Benjamin, Avenged Sevenfold, Rammstein, and as much as I might get a lot of hate for it, I really like Bullet for my Valentine. On the slightly heavier side, I enjoy an occasional dose of Children of Bodom, Slipknot, Machine Head, DevilDriver...
I'm just throwing out names here really, I could go on and on... but that should give you a general idea
