After it was all said and done, the biggest blow to the event people was that we won first prize. The show had a big gift certificate to a local music shop, based on the audience votes for the best band, and they had to give it to us.
We were by far the worst.
But we almost started a riot. At least, some semblance of one.
The mob liked it.

I really, really wish I could have been in the audience for that. What did you spend the certificate on?
